It was Torpoint Ladies First match of the season, in fact it was Torpoint Ladies first ever match and it was a baptism of fire away to YMCA Kitto. Everything was new to Torpoint. The fact that it was all Ladies and the first match using the new Rally point scoring to 21 points certainly did not help but neither did a very strong YMCA Ladies team.
The Ladies tried hard and there were some hard fought points but in the end YMCA ran out 12- 0 winners on the night. Cries of "We will ave em at home with our shuttles" was heard but we will have to wait for the return!
