We have done very well to get this far and had some very good games and this was no exception. Tavistock are in Division 2 as were our previous two opponents so they were always going to be difficult opposition.There was some very close games and Dan & Audrey actually won 2 ends and Joe and Julie also took one end from Tavistock.
At the end of the match we were 111 points behind before the envelope was opened! We thought it was going to be close because in our previous two matches we had been given +126 & +104 against teams in very similar league position.
But as is the Beckly Cup, when the envelope was opened, we only had +81. So we lost by 30 aces. Never mind, there is always next year. We played well and had some good hard matches. Well done to everyone and good luck to Tavistock in the Final!
