Torpoint B came back down to earth with a bump! After a good start to the season with a 6 -3 win at home against Bats, it was always going to be a different proposition against Mayflower Wednesday, away and with plastic shuttles.
All that said, you can't take it away from them, they are a good team and played well. There was some very good games but Torpoint could not stop the whitewash with Mayflower Wednesday winning 9 - 0. It looks like there could be some even harder games ahead because this team lost away to Kitto last week.
All attention now turns to next weeks local derby when the B team entertaining the A team! It should be a good match with all to play for and in some instances pitting husband and wife against each other. Three married couples will take with 2 of them not on the same sides!
