With trepidation Torpoint faced a Liskeard team currently 3rd in the top division. The match was played in Liskeard Public Halls on a plastic mat - one court, so all eyes were on the game in progress. Despite our best efforts we only managed double figures in one end, but after all 9 games we had amassed 115 points, exactly the same as our match against Callington. The difference in aces was 262, and after a photo session the envelope was opened and our handicap was 252, so we lost by just 11 aces. A great experience for all the team and well done for such a good cup run. We wish Liskeard well in the final.
