After losing their first match against Plymouth Life Centre Torpoint knew they had to pull out all the stops against Callington. After the Men’s and Ladies doubles Torpoint were 4- 2 up with John Winning both of his men’s and Audrey winning both her ladies. The first 2 mixed went to Callington levelling it to 4 – 4. With all to play for in the third mixed John and Helen managed to pull it out of the bag for Torpoint winning both ends 21 – 17 giving Torpoint a 5 – 4 win on the night and leaving John unbeaten. Well done team!
