Looking at the league tables before the match the Life Centre were just below Torpoint but had a game in hand, so we knew it would be a close one.
The match started well with number 1 and 2 men, Joe and Jason winning both of their ends. James and Andy didn't fair so well and unfortunately lost both of their ends.
Joe and James were the next pairing up but unfortunately weren't able to produce a win. Jason and Andy managed to grab a few points by winning the closest games of the night, 23-21 and 21-19. That made the score line 4 each and all to play for in the final matches.
Jason and James weren't able to gain another point so it was all down to Joe and Andy! They had two great games but only won one end. Which left the final score 7-5 to the Life Centre.
The next match for Torpoint will see our B team play away to Tavistock this coming Monday. Good luck team!
