We started well with Iain and Gary winning the first two ends but then Kuasa's youngsters stepped up and took the next two ends. Making it 2 all.
Iain and Jason then managed to get two more points in a very close couple of games that both went to 21-19. We dropped the next couple of points making it 4 all going into the last couple of pairings.
The last two pairings were played at the same time. Iains and Stuart's first end went to Kuasa but Gary and Jason took a close win in their first end. This leveled up the scores to 5 each.
Iain and Stuart had a close final match but sadly lost 17-21. So Gary and Jason had to win to level out the points. That was easier said than done. In the end Gary and Jason lost 18-21. So close, yet so far.
The final score was 7-5 to Kuasa. Which puts them at the top of the table by 2 points.
