Text Box: Torpoint Badminton Club are part of the Plymouth & District Badminton League but are actually based in Torpoint which is in South East Cornwall It is only a 10 min ferry ride away from Plymouth and is easily accessible. This is the Torpoint’s second season in our new home which is a purpose built sports hall. For 43 years we played in a single court hall but now we have a brand new 4 court hall which you will be able to see from this site is ideal for Badminton. Since moving to the new hall in May 2006 we have had quite a few visitors and it some of them have joined as members. We are enjoying playing in our new hall and because we have new members we are able to put additional teams in the League. We now have 2 mixed teams and a men’s team in the league

Torpoint Badminton Club has always been a friendly club that caters for most players. if you want to play for fun, or take it that little bit more seriously , Torpoint could be the club for you! We play with feather shuttlecocks. Not only do we play Badminton but we have a very good social side as well

 

We  play in a new 4 court hall we would like to attract to attract a lot more new players from Torpoint/Plymouth and the surrounding area. Come along and give us a try! Its now near the start of the season and with the dark evenings starting to come in. Just the right time to come along and get fit!
