Text Box: Torpoint Badminton Club are part of the Plymouth & District Badminton League but are actually based in Torpoint which is in South East Cornwall It is only a 10 min ferry ride away from Plymouth and is easily accessible. This will be Torpoint’s Fourth season in what we still call our new home which is a purpose built sports hall. For 43 years we played in a single court hall but now we have a 4 court hall which you will be able to see from this site is ideal for Badminton. Since moving to the new hall in May 2006 we have had quite a few visitors and it some of them have joined as members. We are enjoying playing in our new hall We now have 2 mixed teams and a men’s team in the league.

Torpoint Badminton Club has always been a friendly club that caters for most players. if you want to play for fun, or take it that little bit more seriously , Torpoint could be the club for you! We play with feather shuttlecocks. Not only do we play Badminton but we have a very good social side as well

 

We  play in a 4 court hall we would like to attract to attract a lot more new players from Torpoint/Plymouth and the surrounding area.

 

Come along and give us a try! The season is just starting and we have had some new members join so you will not be alone as a newby
