Our ladies last match of the season was a showdown for 3rd place in the league.
Our ladies were 1 point behind the Uni team so we had to win to stop finishing last.
Both the first points were shared between the teams 1-1. But then we grabbed the lead in the next pairing, winning both the points. Which meant we were winning 3-1.
The next set of pairings evened up the score to 4-4 going into the last two pairings. We won the first two ends which meant we at least got a draw but we needed a win. Luckily our ladies played well and won the last two ends giving us an 8-4 win and leap frogging the Uni into 3rd place in the league.
Well done to all of our ladies who showed great improvement throughout the season: Becky, Lisa, Sarah, Sophie and the super subs Christine and Claire.
