Our Ladies have had a very tough baptism in the Ladies League this year and this match against table topping Greenbank was certainly no exception! Carole was sick and could not play and Joan stepped into the breach but although there were some good games all the spoils went to Greenbank and they ran out 12 - 0 winners.
The first game of the night was the closest that Torpoint came to taking a point where Julie and Audrey lost 20 - 22 & 19 -21 but after that Greenbank applied their pressure and did not allow Torpoint to get into it.
Torpoint now have three games left, two against Devonshires, to try to salvage something from the season.
