With a full strength team we hoped to do well against Liskeard - whoever wins this match would likely win the league.
For the men Joe and Laurie started well taking the first end, then let the game slip away - can't blame the slippery floor on that ! Joe and Paul fared better, winning from 1 end down. Laurie and Paul lost in another 3 end thriller.
Our ladies struggled against a strengthened Liskeard trio, Sam and Julie coming close. Julie and Lesley lost their first end 29 - 27, and were then a spent force.
So at 5 - 1 down we went into the mixed pairings and Paul once again came good, winning in 2 ends with Sam. Lesley and Laurie lost in 3 ends, and Joe and Julie were also just beaten, so Liskeard won 7 - 2
